The Department of Classics, Queen's University, invites applications for a tenure-stream position at the rank of Assistant Professor effective July 1, 2000, in Latin Language and Literature. A Ph.D. is required as is a commitment to excellent undergraduate and graduate teaching. The appointee will have a promising research record, preferably in the Late Republic, Early Imperial period. Greek Language and Classical Civilization courses will also constitute part of the teaching duties. The salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
