Sessional Position in Classics

The Department of History and Classics at Acadia University, Wolfville, Nova Scotia, has a nine-months position in Classics, starting on Aug. 1 or Sept. 1 of this year.  The person hired will teach a section in the first-year Introduction to Greek and Roman Civilization courses, a
second-year  survey course in Ancient History, and a course in Beginner's Ancient Greek.  A completed or nearly completed  PhD  and some teaching experience  are  required.  Salary will be according to the Collective Agreement.  Candidates should send their CV by fax or attachment  to the Head of the Department, Dr Barry Moody, phone 902-585-1505, fax 902-585-1070, e-mail <barry.moody@acadiau.ca>
