Eight-month sessional position
University of Manitoba

The Department of Classics, University of Manitoba, invites applications for an eight-month sessional position, September 2004 to April 2005. The successful candidate will be required to teach two sections of Introduction to Ancient Greek Culture and two sections of Greek and Roman Mythology (one of each in the fall term and in the winter term); one section of Introduction to Roman Culture; and one section of an upper-level Greek or Latin course.

Candidates must have an M.A. in Classics; a completed Ph.D. is preferred. Candidates must also have a demonstrated ability to teach at the undergraduate level. Applications will be considered until an appointment is made.
