Bachelor of Education in Classical Studies:
Latin at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education
Salvete Omnes!

Please let your Classics majors know that the deadline for admission to the Bachelor of Education in Classical Studies: Latin at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education  (OISE at the University of Toronto) for the academic year of 2004-2005 is fast approaching. Applications must be submitted electronically to the Ontario University Application Centre in Guelph, Ontario by 01 December 2003.  http://www.ouac.on.ca

Please remind them that they currently need a minimum of 2 full year credits in Latin plus 3 credits in at least one other mainstream teachable such as math, history, English etc. As well, a minimum of 2 years' volunteer experience in the role of instructing or teaching is needed. Information about the degree programme is available on the OCA's website at http://www.ontclassics.org. and the can e-mail me with any questions which they might have.
