12-month Sessional Position

The Department of Classics at The University of Winnipeg invites applications for a 12-month sessional in Classics at the rank of Assistant Professor. This appointment is effective July 1, 2006 and is subject to budgetary approval. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Duties will include teaching undergraduate courses in Classical Civilization, Classical Art and Architecture, and Greek or Latin. Qualifications include a complete or nearly completed Ph.D. and a demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching, research and scholarship.
