3Year Term Position in Classics at Campion College, University of Regina

 

Campion College, a Jesuit liberal arts college federated with the University of Regina, invites applications for a threeyear term position in Classics, at the Instructor III level, for the period July 1, 2021-June 30, 2024.  In keeping with the Jesuit academic tradition, the College seeks an applicant with a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and a demonstrated record of excellence in research. The successful candidate will teach a variety of courses primarily at the first and second year level (languages, myth, culture etc.).  There is some flexibility in choice of courses, and the possibility exists for course development.  The teaching load is 3 courses per term (Fall/Winter).   A Ph.D., at or near completion, evidence of teaching effectiveness, and an active research program are required.

 

Campion faculty members work broadly in the Ignatian tradition to foster the intellectual, spiritual, and social development of their students for service within society. Located in Regina’s scenic Wascana Park, Campion College offers courses in the humanities, social and natural sciences, and fine arts within the framework of the University of Regina. The College is a fully accredited member of the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada and its graduates receive University of Regina degrees. Campion faculty are voting members of their respective Faculties (i.e., Arts; Science; Media, Art, and Performance). Campion College belongs to the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities in Canada.
