Definite Term Lecturer (2yrs) at University of Waterloo (Application due: June 9th)

Definite-Term Lecturer in Classical Studies 

 

The Department of Classical Studies in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Waterloo is seeking a Definite-Term Lecturer for a two-year contract with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2021. 

 

The successful candidate will have a PhD in Classical Studies or an equivalent discipline, with a demonstrated ability to teach ancient Mediterranean history and material culture, as well as both Greek and Latin languages at all levels. Experience with the delivery of online courses would be an asset. Duties include teaching and supervising students at the undergraduate and MA levels.   

 

The salary range for this position at the rank of Lecturer is $68,000 to $100,000. Negotiations beyond this salary range will be considered for exceptionally qualified candidates.
