Instructor: First- and Second year Ancient Greek, University of Waterloo, 2022-23

The Department of Classical Studies at the University of Waterloo is seeking to hire an Instructor for first and second-year Ancient Greek for the 2022-23 academic year (GRK 101 and 201 in the Fall of 2022 and GRK 102 in the Winter of 2023). The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Classical Studies (or a related discipline), and demonstrated experience in teaching languages. Applications from ABD candidates will be considered. The curriculum in Ancient Greek centers around the Athenaze pair of textbooks by Lawall and Balme, and experience in teaching with this text is desirable.
